The Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones "MODON" is organizing the "Future Factory” conference in Riyadh on November 18th. This comes as the Kingdom seeks to become a leading industrial power and a global logistics center. The Director of Marketing and Corporate Communications and spokesperson for MODON, Bandar Al-Toaimi, stated the conference aims at enriching future trends in the concept of the Fourth Industrial Revolution as it keeps pace with the developments that are rapidly infiltrating the foundations of the global economy based on the concepts of digital solutions, to achieve sustainable development in the industry.
He stated that keeping pace with these developments to continue the development of the industrial sector which is considered the main pillar within the plans to diversify the national economy in line with the Kingdom's Vision 2030 to achieve sustainable development in the industry.
He said that MODON has initiated the digital transformation of its services and products to its partners within the 35 industrial cities it overses in order to implement its strategy to enable industry, increase local content, and create value for Saudi industries which are one of the main bodies entrusted with the implementation of the National Industry Development and Logistics Program.
He pointed out that the aim of organizing the conference of "Future Factory" is to help our investor partners to benefit from these innovations and raise the competitiveness of national industry during the coming years, both regionally and internationally. The conference will be attended by highly knowledgeable speakers in the concepts of the Fourth Industrial Revolution from various government sectors, international and Saudi companies, in addition to presentations on applications of modern technologies in the Saudi industrial environments.
