Career History

Eng. Mohammad bin Owaid bin Ateeq Al-Juaid has been serving as the Founder and Chairman of Petron Saudi Industrial Company since 2010. Prior to this, he held various positions in a number of entities.  Eng. Al Juaid was the Head of the Mechanical Engineering Department and the Head of the Maintenance Department for Kimya (SABIC) since 1989. In 1991, he held the position of General Manager of FIPCO Company and in 1994, he was appointed as General Manager of Abu Nayan Trading Company. He also held the position of Vice President of Olayan Financial Company in 2001 and CEO of A-Fawzan Holding Company in 2008.



Eng. Al-Juaid has a wealth of experience spanning more than 36 years and was a member of many local companies, most notably Saudi International Petrochemical Company (Sipchem, National Industrialization Company (Tasnee), Middle East Specialized Cables Company (MESC), National Electricity Transmission Company, National Metal Manufacturing and Casting Company (MAADANIYAH), Saudi Advanced Industries Company (SAIC), Deutsche Gulf Finance, Riyadh Financial Company, and United Lube Oil Company.


Eng. Al-Juaid holds obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, in 1982 and a Master’s degree in Industrial Management from Central Michigan University in 1983. He is considered one of the Kingdom’s most prominent experts in these two specializations, in which he achieved great successes.
